Apologies

“Never ruin an apology with an excuse.”
― Benjamin Franklin

“I am the wisest man alive, for I know one thing, and that is that I know nothing.”
― PlatoThe Republic

The two quotes above sum up how I feel about apologies, when you make a mistake own it, learn from it, apologise sincerely for it and move on.

In quoting recent statistics for Grandparent carers I mistakenly said that there were over 2million grandparent carers in the U.K. the figure is approximately closer to 300,000.

So there you have it, I am sincerely sorry that there are up to 300,000 Grandparent carers (children who reside with their grandparents) and I am equally upset that there are up to 1 million grandchildren who are denied contact with their Grandparents.

An apology with no excuses.

Grudges are a waste of perfect happiness. Laugh when you can, apologize when you should, and let go of what you can’t change. (Photo credit: deeplifequotes)
